Drastic Steps is a Syracuse based soundscaper who practices the art of playing a fragmented story by juxtaposing and layering pre-recorded sounds in such a way that the composite transcends and transforms the parts into an altered totality of musical experience. For him mixing is also a way to listen creatively and actively while pay homage to the artists and their work that the mixes rely on. All his mixes are strictly vinyl.
